Stirling City Library

On February 28, 2002 Title for three buildings, and approximately half-acre of land, was passed to the Stirling City Historical Society by the State of California. It was formerly used by the California Department of Forestry (CDF) which has a large new facility just behind the Museum complex. For several months many hours of labor went into the repair and remodeling by volunteers.

Located at 16999 Skyway, Stirling City's Library, as part of the Museum/Library complex, was dedicated August 16, 2003, during the town's 100 year celebration.

Note: The Museum/Library has undergone many changes since it first opened.

The purpose of the library is to bring the town together, that it's a fun place for them to come, and hopefully provide something for kids and adults alike to do in town.

Call for hours when opened. Telephone: 530-873-1598.
